EAS XIprog is our in-circuit Xilinx JTAG programmer. It can be used to program Xilinx FPGA and CPLD’s using the pc parallel port.

Circuit based on Xilinx Parallel Download Cable schematic.
Male DB25 connector to PC parallel port.
Low parts count.
Compact size, 2.5″ X 2″.
Compatible with any Xilinx FPGA’s and CPLD’s that can accept TTL level programming signals. Tested and verified to program XC3000, XC4000, XC9500 and Spartan2 devices. Maybe compatible with other Xilinx FPGA’s but not tested yet.
Can be used to program 3.3Volt Xilinx parts.
Same connector pinout configuration as Xilinx Parallel Cable III model DLC5 programmer.
Professional quality board with silkscreen.
Power requirements:
Requires external 3.3 or 5 Volt DC supply. This is usually supplied by the target board’s JTAG/FPGA programming header.
Software:
XIprog has been tested to work with Xilinx Foundation, Foundation ISE and ISE WebPACK development software.
